Eastman Kodak is co-operating with the Bank of China to launch the second round of a lending
operation to assist investors open branches that process digital photographs. Under the
scheme, people wishing to join its planned nationwide network will be provided with loans
of up to Ynlm.
Kodak said that it had already set up 8,300 colour-photo printing stores in
China, of which 1,400 offer digital photo printing. In
order to increase this number, it has
set up an arrangement with Bank of China to provide finance for those in need of funds to
pur-chase digital photo printing equipment.
