Langham Hotels will have a new Langham Place hotel in Ningbo probably around the end of 2011.
The 140-room Langham Place, Ningbo Culture Plaza will consist of two distinctive low-rise towers linked by a modern art deco corridor.
The Ningbo Culture Plaza, a multi-purpose complex, will include commercial, educational, recreational, retail, gallery, exhibition and theatre space. The property will also host functions in a 830 sq m ballroom and five versatile meeting rooms.
The deepwater port city of Ningbo in Zhejiang province on China’s eastern seaboard is home to one of the world’s top five container ports.
Asia Travel Tips reports that Ningbo is only two hours from Shanghai, linked by an amazing 36 km cross-sea bridge.
