The Daiwa Institute of Research revised its full-year earnings projections for Lenovo downward by 4%, and lowered its expectations for global shipment growth from 18% to 14% for this year. Opinions differed on the overall impact of the earthquake, with some analysts describing it as merely a "temporary setback" for spending. Lenovo’s fiscal first-quarter earnings have not yet been announced.
