Mine death toll rises to 210

The death toll from Monday's coal mine gas explosion at Fuxin in Liaoning province was put at 210, state media reported. Five people are still trapped, reports said, noting that officials are still investigating the cause of the accident, which occurred about 242m below the surface. Official data indicate 16 coal miners died each day last year.
