China has set up a top-level body to draft sweeping changes to its constitution, part of economic and political
reforms that could change the ideological complexion of the state, the Finanial Time's
reported. The establishment of the new body was said by who took office in March, has
already begun to set China's political agenda.
One task of the new body is to draft a constitutional amendment that would give the property of private enterprises the same level of legal protection as that of state enterprises.
