No licenses needed by exporters

Companies registered with relevant government departments will no longer need to apply for licenses to engage in foreign trade from July 1, state media reported. Until now, mainland companies required licenses, as did foreign companies which had to meet specific criteria to get them. The change is in line with China's WTO commitments to lower barriers to international trade.
