[photopress:Saidcloisters.jpg, full, alignright]The Saïd Business School is fully integrated into Oxford University. In the ranking of MBA programs compiled by the Financial Times and published in January 2006 the School’s MBA was the ranked the best one-year program in the UK.
Taking an MBA at the Oxford Saïd Business School gives you a set of electives. Available for the first time this year is a course Business in China, created by Eric Thun, Lecturer in Chinese Business Studies. This course, which is attracting Chinese as well as non-Chinese students, provides students with an understanding of how to succeed in business in China. Thun, who is a fluent Mandarin speaker, draws on his considerable personal experience of working with the automotive industry in China.
All MBA students are required to complete two ‘core’ elective courses and six other elective courses as part of the one-year program. The range of electives available to MBA students changes each year to reflect changes in the business environment. Adding business in China reflects the realities of modern business.
