Rural infrastructure to receive US$6bn

China plans to invest US$6.02 billion in rural infrastructure projects this year, according to a release by the State Development and Reform Commission at a meeting on the country's rural economy. The investment will focus on traffic, irrigation and power projects with priority given to grain production centers and western areas.
