Australia and China began negotiations on their free trade agreement today, coinciding with a speech by the Chairman of China's National People's Congress, Wu Bangguo, to senior Australian and Chinese business executives in Sydney, according to media reports. Wu is set to meet Australian Prime Minister John in Canberra Tuesday.
