We carried a bit of news today in the daily briefs about a major victory in the global intellectual property rights battle. Karaoke lounge owners are – perhaps reluctantly! – coming to the rescue of the beleaguered record companies. KTV lounges will have to pay a karaoke copyright fee starting some time later this year.
