Wonderful stuff. Magic pictures. Their lives lie ahead of them. They have taken the first big step. They look happy, intelligent, contented.
A moral minority took grave exception and, it is alleged, in blogs called them that which they plainly are not: ‘whores’, ‘prostitutes’ and ‘strumpets’.
To their defense came assorted blogs in China.
One wrote:
In actual terms, these photographs are imaginative. They are the most daring and most avant-garde graduation photographs that I have seen. . . This is only an expression of individuality. Nobody should talk trash about these photographs. Nobody should criticize these female students who are brave enough to set themselves free.
Absolutely. They look like charmers to me. There are three excellent pictures of them — nothing in the slightest offensive; just charm and energy and intelligence — on the source site listed below.
