Taiwan dollar stutters on anti-secession law news

Reuters reported that the Taiwan dollar weakened in early trading on concerns over Beijing's plan to draw up an anti-secession law. The Taiwan dollar jumped by more than 10 cents in the opening minute of trade on buying by foreign banks, but quickly sank to T$32.433, weaker than Friday's close of T$32.360. Trading volume climbed only moderately, to US$83m.
