[photopress:real_estate_world_carnival.jpg,full,alignright]World Carnival, the world’s largest touring carnival entertainer based in UK, plans to build China’s largest indoor amusement park in Inner Mongolia’s Manchuri, the northernmost city in China, bordering Russia.
Manchuri used to be the first train stop on the way from Russia to China. This border city has thousands of Russian daily come through to China. Both currencies are used.
The border is open from 7 am to 6 pm everyday with two checkpoints dealing with heavy traffic.
The company believes that Manchuri, boasting a special geography with access to a lot of Russian tourists and a seven-month-long cold season, is consistent with their in-door amusement park strategy.
The park will eventually cover over 2.1 square kilometers, integrating local culture, amusement park, tourism and shopping as well as Russian folk culture. It is expected to boost the local real estate industry and economic development.
World Carnival is listed as one of the three leading entertainment brands in the world, together with Disney and Hollywood.
