Vice-Premier Wu Yi is set to meet Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi during her week-long visit to Japan which began yesterday, and is expected to discuss historical grievances stemming from World War II and the joint development of natural gas fields in the disputed parts of the East China Sea, state media reported, citing the Foreign Ministry. Koizumi said Monday that he would continue to make his annual pilgrimage to Japan's war shrine, according to the report.
