Xi, Modi sign deal as troops rattle sabres at China-India border

While Chinese and Indian security forces faced off in the countries’ disputed border region Wednesday, President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi met to sign a multibillion-dollar agreement for Chinese investment in an industrial park in the state of Gujarat, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing an Indian official.
