Yageo Corporation announced that it plans to invest US$70 million to expand its multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) production capacity at its Suzhou operations. The Taiwan-based company said its planned second plant in the Suzhou National High-tech Industrial Park will raise production capacity at its Suzhou operations to 2 billion MLCCs per month. The facility is scheduled to commence operations in 2005.
