Indian intelligence agencies claim to have evidence that China is continuing to supply nuclear material and missile technology to Pakistan, reported the Financial Times.
Although China has agreed not to spread nuclear technology, support was being given clandestinely through third parties, notably North Korea. The claims were made by India's foreign minister Yashwant Sinha, in a speech that expressed disappointment at the rate at which relations between India and China were improving. Indian analysts believe that China's assistance in the 1980s and 1990s was crucial in Pakistan's development of nuclear capability.
